An overview 

Nordic Vaccines development program is based on its proprietary technology platforms:

 Posintro™:  A unique nano-particle patented by Nordic vaccine, which combines exceptional delivery and immunological properties for the development of improved prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines. 

Nordic vaccine initially pursues the potential of the Posintro™ technology in the area prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases. The system also holds a strong potential for the emerging therapeutic vaccines where the efficient kinetics & CTL responses would be highly advantageous.

TransVac™: A novel patch system for pain-free, non-invasive, transdermal delivery of vaccines. This was developed together with Coloplast, combining Nordic vaccines expertise in adjuvant and delivery with Coloplast expertise in plasters, gels and adhesives.  

Possible applications lie within pediatric vaccination regimens, booster vaccines, travel vaccines, multiple vaccination regimens, mass vaccination and possibly military applications.
